Unlike my other birthdays, this was a different one. I guess it’s true what they say that when you get older, your birthday isn’t as much as the kind of birthday back when we were still seven with all those balloons, cake, mascots, party hats, loot bags and the like.
A few days before my birthday, I felt excited though. But only because I knew I was going to receive a few little gifts...

I could still remember how his “When does Midterms start, Nik?” question made my day.
It made me shout like I’ve won a million pesos, jump as if I was on a soft ground and grin like he proposed marriage to me.
CHILDISH!?! YEA.
But honestly, I felt like I was the happiest girl in the entire universe.
How time flies.
I’m just grateful it happened anyway :)
